Photovoltaics
A photovoltaic system converts sunlight directly into electricity, silently, with no moving parts and for decades. What you consume yourself, you do not have to buy.
What a system consists of
Modules
Solar modules mounted on the roof generate direct current. We rely on modules from established manufacturers with long product and performance warranties.
Mounting system
A system matched to your roof covering holds the modules securely, tested for wind and snow loads.
Inverter
It turns direct current into household alternating current and supplies the data for monitoring the system.
Meter and connection
The grid operator replaces the meter so that consumption and feed-in are billed cleanly.
Monitoring
An app shows you production and consumption at any time, and you notice immediately if something is wrong.
Optional: storage
A battery raises self-consumption considerably. We calculate for you whether it pays off.
Which buildings we build for
Tiles, Eternit or flat roof: what matters is orientation, pitch, shading and the condition of the roof covering.
- Detached houses with and without heat pump
- Apartment buildings and properties run by management companies
- Commercial and industrial buildings with high daytime consumption
- Agricultural buildings with large roof areas
- Flat roofs with elevated modules
- Solar fences: modules mounted vertically as a privacy screen, no roof space needed
- Systems combined with a charging station or heat pump
What your system brings you
Most of the benefit comes from self-consumption: every kilowatt-hour you use yourself replaces expensive grid electricity. Surplus goes into the grid and is paid for by the grid operator. How much they pay varies by region; we check this for your location and calculate it honestly in the quote.
